I've been unusually quiet, because I'm working a gazillion hours.
To all of you who have visited and left comments, thanks, your comments make my day (and my days have needed making!) and I will get back to visit your blogs soon.
Yesterday, I screwed up my back, and now moving is difficult/painful.
The doctor gave me drugs (no, nothing for pain; I'm allergic to almost all pain meds) so hopefully I'll be able to bend and twist without whimpering soon.
But that begs a question...just how easy are the brownie buttons? Can I do them with limited twisting and bending? And are they worth it? How long does it take to throw them together (without gorgeous decorating, because you all know I don't do that)?
I planned to keep this brief, in keeping with Nancy's one line blog post week. But since I had 'splainin' to do, it took a little longer. I'm a brevity work in progress.

Sorry to hear you've had to work so much and that you hurt your back. The brownie buttons are pretty easy. I thought they were good, but not that exciting.
Although I'm glad that you 'splained everything I'm sad that you sprained (or otherwise messed up) your back, and, honestly, I don't think this recipe was worth even the minor amount of effort it took, so I'd skip this TWD week and instead make a pan of fabulous brownies... you deserve it!
Awww... I hope you feel loads better soon!
These brownies are easy to put together, taste good, but I prefer the quintuple chocolate brownies!
hope you feel better soon- take a week off! These are good and easy but not worth physical pain!
EASY! (Limiting to one word for one sentence blogging week on comments! LOL.)
Feel better soon!
Oh on, sorry to hear about the back and all of the working :( Reviews seem mixed on the brownie bites this week. I really liked them and they are easy to throw together, but I wouldn't suffer for them if you can't move easily.
I'm so sory to hear you hurt yourself... I'll send my best vibes your way for a quick recovery!
In the meantime, forget about the button, kill two birds with one stone, and relax.
Take care and keep in touch.
Oh no! I am sorry about how busy it's been at work for you, and I'm ESPECIALLY sorry about your back! I hope you are feeling better soon. Personally, I loved this recipe. I know that not everyone did. And it's a "mix in one pan" deal and yields only a small amount of brownies (I got 12). If you are in the mood to bake anything (and it would certainly be understandable if you aren't!) I think this is a good one to try!
Get some rest and feel better soon!
Although these were really easy, I didn't think they were that exciting.
You poor thing! Skip this week; they were super easy, but not worth the effort.
I hope your back gets better quick and soon. Been there, go back often, don't like it at all.
Sorry to hear about your back pain and that you can't take any pain meds to help alleviate the pain!
The brownie batter is super easy to make and I would just pour it into an 8x8 pan instead of the mini-muffins if you wanted to try this. Or you can just sit back and relax! Hope your back feels better soon!
:( Hope you feel better soon!

Oh no!! I am so sorry to hear that you hurt your back! Hope you are feeling better soon!! Please, take care. I miss you! :o)
Oh no! So sorry that work and life have gotten so crazy. I sincerely hope your back starts feeling better soon.
I really liked the brownies but they seem to have divided people pretty evenly. However, if I was crazy busy with a wonky back, I would most certainly make my loved ones BUY me brownies instead of MAKING them. :)
Bummer and sorry about your back. I've had back issues for years, so I feel your pain. Hope you'll be back baking and sharing with us soon!
I've totally lost my cooking/baking Mojo. Do you think its summer fever?
Sorry you hurt your back, I know how that is when nothing helps (or in your case--nothing can help). Hope you are feeling better soon!
