Lemon Rosemary Flatbread

This flatbread is a snap to prepare and is beyond versatile. I found this on Tracey's Culinary Adventures, and made it while tweeting with my Twitter buddy, Kayte of Grandma's Kitchen Table. Kayte made it with thyme, as did Tracey, but I went with rosemary as that's what I have in the garden. I also used lemon olive oil from my adopted tree, and sprinkled it with fleur de sel.

After combining flour, rosemary, salt and baking powder, you add water and olive oil to form a dough. After dividing the dough in three pieces, you roll out each piece of dough on a piece of parchment, brush with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs and salt. Bake until browned and enjoy!

If you'd like the recipe, you can find it here or here or even here. Once you make it, you'll start thinking of all the ways you can change it up. Go ahead, give it a try!

Guess what I learned from my Google Reader? That you have already posted this break that you baked a matter of just a few hours ago! Color me impressed (and thanks again for fixing my Reader!) and just a bit envious that I couldn't bake along. I do hope to try this bread soon. Looks so yummy.

I HAVE TO TRY THIS. My Food Tv mag came today and they have a flat bread recipe. I think it's an omen. Must.Make.Flatbread.

Yours is so cute in the kitty cup.

Flat bread is so delicious and quick to make, and I have both rosemary and thyme in the garden.

I am so glad this has been such a big hit! It really is super simple so I need to make it again soon with the lemon/rosemary combo, which is right up my alley :)

Had such a fun time baking this with you! I'm doing rosemary today to go with the leftover Lemon Cx Orzo Ellie soup. Couldn't resist as it is so easy! (Well, easy if you don't discard the parchment until AFTER you bake it...LOL!) Yours looks great, and so much fun in that little kitty mug. Definitely a keeper and I'll think of you and Tracey every time I make it.

I would never have thought of making flatbread but now I am thinking about it.

You said it was easy and that is what I am in the mood for.
