Your bread looks gorgeous and so does the crumb. I've made this bread last year and it was a big hit too. It's amazing how something with such simple and few ingredients can turn into so delicious. We ate ours buttered aside a bowl of homemade soup :o)Hanaâhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660317268731033542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2254099588758515056.post-56992972231749959442010-07-05T21:46:55.484-07:002010-07-05T21:46:55.484-07:00Leslie you inspire me ! It always takes a few failed attempts to make something even better! Kudos to you! I've saved your post for when I get up the nerve to make bread one of these days.Gloria - The Ginger Snap Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04132851638323218917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2254099588758515056.post-43565201564431697062010-07-05T17:06:55.484-07:002010-07-05T17:06:55.484-07:00Happy anniversary! We truly have become bread baking apprentices! We loved this one, too, but mine didn't look nearly as nice inside as yours does. Great job. Such fun to hear how you got started and see the photos of the breads...we are so happy you gave in to Nancy and Audrey's encouragement (note I did not call it arm twisting) to join S&S! It wouldn't be the same without you. And, it is so nice to have someone that we can arm twist, oh, of course I meant encourage, onto other ventures we all wildly come up with on a whim at the spur of the moment. It's just nice to have a player! Love your bread, and those rolls do look so wonderful. Happy Anniversary...what a nice one to be celebrating!Kaytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04892296035070233639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2254099588758515056.post-54969594682089026892010-07-05T07:57:46.320-07:002010-07-05T07:57:46.320-07:00Yay, happy anniversary, Leslie!!! Your Pain a l'Ancienne is a thing of beauty. I still can't get the big holes, but love the taste of the bread anyway.Nancy/n.o.ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12870024363382414106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2254099588758515056.post-44175662045803361492010-07-05T07:57:46.321-07:002010-07-05T07:57:46.321-07:00Your baguettes are gorgeous!!!
